A Strong and Passionate Voice for Division 2

Education has been a very important part of Femi’s life, both personally and professionally.  He is passionate about public education, and will work with all stakeholders to make a difference in the public schools.

As your representative on the Public School Board, Femi will bring a rich cultural diversity, boardroom experience and training to ensure the following:


  • Student achievement and well-being; students are a priority
  • Collaborative decision-making through community input and effective communication
  • Encourage innovation and creativity, as well as shared learning experiences
  • Accountability to the public for performance of School Division Ward 2
  • Strategic integration of new immigrants to make learning meaningful and fun
  • Development of strategic planning, policy-making and judicious allocation of resources.

Experienced, Knowledgeable and Educated


Femi has diverse experience spanning an impressive 37 year career, including professional geologist, university lecturer, high school teacher, educational consultant, businessman and pastor.

Femi holds Bachelor’s Master’s degrees in Geology, and is pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration with the University of Liverpool, England. He recently completed the Chartered Director’s program at the Director’s College (a University of McMaster accredited and certification program). 

Passionate About Community

Femi is well-known and respected within the community as a leader and a bridge-builder. He serves on the board of a number of for-profit and non-profit organizations. He and his wife, Remi, are Senior Pastors of Lighthouse to All Nations, a thriving multi-national and multi-racial congregation in Regina. He is also CEO of Dazog Overseas Education, responsible for recruiting international students for more than 10 universities in Canada. Femi has been involved in leading compassionate humanitarian work to the poor, the underprivileged, the oppressed, the abused and abandoned in Canada and beyond.

Femi came to Regina 22 years ago on a Fellowship from the United Nation’s International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). He and Remi have been married for 30 years, and are blessed with three daughters who have all graduated from the University of Regina, and who are now pursuing further training and career development all over the world.
